I had a fantastic stay at Delta Hotels By Marriott Calgary Downtown. The location is incredible, just a short walk from the Bow River walkway and close to great restaurants and shops. My King Room was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely view. The on-site restaurant had a great happy hour and tasty food options. The complimentary coffee in the lobby was a nice touch too!

Lack of bedside light switches made it a hassle to adjust lighting from the bed, which was inconvenient. I noticed cleanliness was hit-or-miss. they skipped a proper cleaning on the first day and only managed to swap out towels for the rest of the stay. Plus, breakfast options felt pretty limited—not much to choose from when you’re looking for a decent spread to start the day.

The Elite Pantry was a great perk. The view of downtown from our room was stunning. We loved the spacious Queen Room and being just steps away from the river parks.

Dinner wasn’t that great though. my nephew struggled with the menu choices. The bar had some cool options for happy hour though.
